Dosing and Administration

Outwardly, in the form of appliqués. Before use, naphthalan oil is heated to 38 ° C, applied to the skin with a flat brush, covered with a polyethylene film, then with a warm blanket. The duration of the application for the entire skin is 15-20 minutes, for a separate area - 20-30 minutes; procedures are carried out a day or two days in a row with a break for the third day, for the course - 10-15 procedures. For general lubrication, 150-200 g of naphthalan oil is required, for local lubrication it is 50-100 g. The course of treatment is recommended to be repeated once in six months for 1.5-2 years. After application, the oil from the skin is removed with a dry cloth, then rinsed off with warm water under the shower with the use of detergents.

Advantages of applications: always a fresh portion of naphthalan oil, no stress on the cardiovascular system, the possibility of combining with thermal procedures, availability at home. In the conditions of the physiotherapeutic room, the lubricated areas of the skin can be exposed to thermal radiation energy ("Sollyx" lamp, Minina, electro-light bath, infrared emitter), inductothermy, DMV therapy. Naphthalan oil can be used as a contact medium for phonophoresis.
