Composition and release form

1 tablet contains tetrazepam 50 mg; in the blister 10 pcs., in the box 2 blisters.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, myorelaxing, sedative.

Oppresses mono- and polysynaptic reflexes, enhances GABAergic effects in the central nervous system.

Indication of the drug Myolastan

Contractures with degenerative spine lesions, neurological contractures with spasms, torticollis, back and back pain.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, severe respiratory failure, pregnancy.

Side effects

Drowsiness, irritability, aggressiveness, decreased reaction rate, myasthenia gravis, withdrawal syndrome (anxiety, myalgia, insomnia, nightmares, indigestion, convulsions), rash.

Interaction

Strengthens (mutually) the effects of muscle relaxants, neuroleptics, tranquilizers, antidepressants, alcohol, sedatives, hypnotics.

Dosing and Administration

Inside. 1st day - 1 / 2-1 table. (25-50 mg), preferably in the evening. Then, gradually increasing the dose by 1 / 2-1 table. per day - up to 3-6 (in exceptional cases - up to 8) Table. per day in 3-4 hours. Children - 4 mg / kg per day. The duration of treatment should be limited.

Overdose

Symptoms: depression of respiration and cardiovascular system, coma.

Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Precautionary measures

Caution and strict medical supervision are necessary in the treatment of patients with myasthenia gravis. It should be borne in mind the reduced reaction rate. Breastfeeding mothers should stop breastfeeding during treatment.
