Pharmacotherapy. Stimulates leukopoiesis in leukopenia due to the use of cytostatics or exposure to ionizing radiation. It induces the production of colony-stimulating factors, enhances the proliferation and differentiation of cells of various hematopoietic germs. It also has an immunostimulating effect (increases the functional activity of neutrophilic granulocytes and lymphocytes).
Indication. Leukopenia (on the background of chemotherapy and radiation therapy of malignant tumors), the need for chemotherapy in conditions of leukopenic background (the number of leukocytes of peripheral blood is not less than 3 thousand / μl).
Contraindications. Hypersensitivity.
Dosing. IV by drop infusion, daily at a dose of 15-20 ng / kg of the patient. Immediately before administration, the contents of the ampoule are dissolved in 1 ml of a sterile 0.9% NaCl solution or water for injection and the total volume of the solution is adjusted to 100 ml with a 0.9% NaCl solution. The duration of administration can vary from 30 to 90 minutes. The course of treatment is 5 days. If necessary, similar repeated courses of treatment are carried out with an interval of 2 weeks.
Side effect. Chills, headache, hyperthermia.
