Composition and form of release

1 ml of ophthalmic suspension contains indomethacin 10 mg.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory.

Oppresses the synthesis of PG (prostaglandins).

Indication

Prophylaxis of edema of the stain after removal of cataract; suppression of intraoperative miosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, diseases of the digestive tract (gastrointestinal tract), aspirin asthma, children's age.

pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated.

Side effects

Burning, red eyes, eyelid edema, epithelial defects of the cornea, increased intraocular pressure, layered keratopathy, itching.

Dosing and Administration

Locally. On the day preceding the operation, 1 drop to the affected eye 4 times and 1 drop 45 minutes before surgery; after the operation, 1 drop in the eye 4 times a day for 10-12 weeks.
