Pharmacotherapy

Combined means. Natamycin is an antifungal antibiotic with a wide spectrum of action. Violates the integrity and function of cell membranes. It has a fungicidal effect on yeast, yeast-like fungi, dermatophytes: Trichomonas spp., Candida spp., Torulopsis spp., Trichophyton, Microsporum spp., Aspergillus spp., Fusarium spp. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic of broad spectrum of action, inhibits the synthesis of proteins in microbial cells. Bactericidal against Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus faecalis, Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Escherichia coli, etc. With respect to Streptococcus spp. Is inactive. Stability develops slowly and to a small extent. Hydrocortisone - GCS (glucocorticosteroids), has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. It inhibits the release of interleukins and interferon from lymphocytes and macrophages, inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators, reduces the formation of arachidonic acid, stimulates steroid receptors, induces the formation of a protein called lipocortin. Reduces inflammatory cell infiltrates, reduces the migration of leukocytes and lymphocytes to the area of inflammation.

Indications

Fungal skin diseases, superficial dermatitis infected with bacteria or fungi, sensitive to neomycin and natamycin; Pustular dermatoses; Otomycosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, skin tuberculosis, post-vaccination period; Primary skin infections caused by viruses; Pink acne, perioral dermatitis, anogenital itching, diaper rash; Extensive psoriatic plaques; Violation of the integrity of the skin: ulcers, wounds, syphilitic skin lesions, skin tumors.

Carefully

Pregnancy (I trimester), lactation period; Diabetes, tuberculosis (systemic damage); Perforation of the tympanic membrane, thoracic age (up to 1 year).

Dosing

Outer, 2-4 times a day, on the affected skin. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

Side effect

Irritation, flushing and itching of the skin, exacerbation of the disease at the beginning of treatment; Superinfection; Stria, thinning of the skin, skin atrophy, telangiectasia. With prolonged use on extensive surfaces or under occlusive dressings - systemic effects, ototoxic and nephrotoxic actions of neomycin. Possible toxic effects of neomycin on the middle ear when applied to the area of the auditory canal and the presence of perforation of the tympanic membrane.

Interaction

Avoid co-administration (due to the presence of hydrocortisone) with barbiturates, hypoglycemic drugs (drug), anticoagulants, salicylates, diuretics.

Special instructions

With the development of super- or fungal infection, therapy is discontinued. Do not apply on face, avoid contact with eyes. Due to nephro- and ototoxicity, do not use for a long time and in large quantities.
