Purified tar tar 5 mg

auxiliary substances: triethanolamine lauryl sulfate; polyethylene glycol-8-distearate; monoethanolamide cocamide; diethanolamide cocamide; sodium chloride; distilled water

Description of dosage form

Fluorescent liquid of dark amber color, with a faint smell of tar.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-seborrheic, antifungal, local.

Pharmacodynamics

It inhibits the proliferation of epidermal cells, has an antifungal effect (in particular, on Pityrosporum ovale). Removes from the skin the surface layer of dead cells of the epidermis and helps to remove excess fat from the scalp.

Indications

seborrhea;

seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, accompanied by increased sebum;

psoriasis of the scalp.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.

Dosing and Administration

Locally. Before use, shake. Apply the necessary amount of shampoo to damp hair and rub into the skin until the foam forms, wash the hair and apply again, leave the foam on the head for about 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

The drug is recommended to apply 1-2 times a week. The course of treatment for oily seborrhea is usually 4-17 weeks, with psoriasis of the scalp - 8-12 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated.

After achieving the desired effect with the use of Freederm® tar shampoo, it is recommended to use Freederm® pH shampoo for the prevention of skin diseases of the scalp.

For external use only. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with clean water.
