Composition and form of release

1 soft gelatin capsule contains ketoprofen 50 mg; in blistere 10 pcs., in a cardboard bundle 3 blisters.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, analgesic.

It inhibits cyclooxygenase and inhibits the synthesis of PG.

Indication

Inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system: osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, tendosinovitis, sciatica, myalgia, sciatica, bruises and strains of muscles, tendons and ligaments, edema (symptomatic therapy); pain syndrome (postoperative, post-traumatic pain, bone metastases), renal colic, algodismenorea.

Solution for injection - acute pain syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to other NSAIDs), gastrointestinal diseases in the acute phase, severe renal and hepatic dysfunction, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, bleeding disorders, hemorrhoids and proctitis (suppositories), pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 15 years of age .

pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Side effects

From the nervous system and sensory organs: dizziness, headache, asthenia.

On the part of the intestine: gastralgia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, gastrointestinal hemorrhages.

Other: transient dysuria, skin allergic reactions (pruritus, urticaria), with the use of suppositories - burning sensation, tenesmus, liquid stool.

Dosing and Administration

Capsules: Inside, after eating, without chewing and drinking with a sufficient amount of water, 50-100 mg 2-3 times a day.

Suppositories: rectally, 1 supp. (100 mg) 1-2 times a day.

Gel: topically, apply a small amount of gel a thin layer on the skin above the inflammation focus and lightly rub 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment should not exceed 14 days without consulting a doctor.

Injection: deep into the muscle 100 mg 1-2 times a day for usually a few days. After the removal of acute pain syndrome, they switch to the use of capsules or suppositories.

The maximum daily dose is 300 mg.

Precautionary measures
