Composition and release form

1 tablet, coated with a shell, contains iron gluconate 300 mg; In a blister 10 pcs., In a cardboard bundle 1 blister or in polyethylene bottles of 100 pcs., In a cardboard bundle 1 bottle.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - Anti-anemic.

Stimulates (at the substrate level) the synthesis of hemoglobin.

Interaction

Disrupts the absorption of tetracyclines (should be prescribed at intervals of at least two hours before or after taking Ferronal); Eggs, milk, tea stop, and antacid agents worsen the resorption of iron.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, after a meal. For 4-6 tablets. (Treatment of iron deficiency anemia) or 2 tablets. (Prevention) per day; Children - 1-3 table. in a day. Syrup: for children under 1 year - 1 tea a day after eating.

Precautionary measures

Be wary appoint patients with peptic ulcer, enteritis, ulcerative colitis. To avoid accidental poisoning, it is necessary to store the drug out of the reach of children. Iron preparations stain feces in a dark color and sometimes can mask hidden bleeding.
