Dosing and Administration

Locally. Fagodent applied to a finger or a toothbrush and rubbed into the gum. Direct insertion of the agent into the oral cavity and its uniform distribution by the tongue is permissible (Fagodent is safe if swallowed). After using Fagodent, the mouth is not rinsed and does not eat for 40 minutes.

A parodontal pocket, a suppurative focus in the area of the dental implant are treated with a fagodent (if necessary, a dental instrument is used).

Do not bring Fagodent into closed foci of inflammation that do not have or have a limited outflow of exudates from the outbreak (eg, root canals, sutured wounds). The introduction of Fagodent into such foci due to the mass lysis of bacteria can lead to a severe exacerbation of the inflammatory process and / or edema and / or lymphostasis.

Schemes of application

In healthy people, incl. For normalization of the microflora of the oral cavity, fighting with an unpleasant odor, during teething: 1 ml of Fagodent (1 depression) 2-3 times a day after hygiene measures. The duration of the preventive course is from 7 to 14 days. The course is recommended to be repeated every month. The duration of the use of Fagodent for preventive purposes is unlimited.

In the presence of risk factors for the development of bacterial infections of the oral cavity, incl. Diabetes, oncological diseases (especially during the period of radiation and chemotherapy), reduced local and general immunity, fungal and viral infections in the oral cavity, autoimmune and other systemic diseases: 1 ml Fagodent (1 depression) 3-4 times a day after hygienic Activities. The duration of the course corresponds to the duration of the risk factor. When the risk factor terminates, a regimen for healthy people is recommended.

When using removable and non-removable orthopedic structures, including full or partial dentures, bridges and crowns, incl. On implants: 1 ml of Fagodent (1 push) 3-4 times a day after eating and following hygienic measures. The duration of the preventive course is 14 days. The course is recommended to be repeated every 1-2 months.

In the process of orthodontic treatment using removable (for example, plates) and non-removable (for example, bracket systems) apparatus: 1 ml Fagodent (1 press) 3-4 times a day after meals and subsequent hygiene measures. Fagodent is used throughout the entire orthodontic treatment. At the end of treatment, a regimen for healthy people is recommended.

Prevention of bacterial inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and their relapses (gingivitis, periodontitis, peri-implantitis): the dose of Fagodent is determined by a doctor, based on a specific clinical situation. Fagodent is injected with a dull cannula after hygienic treatment and medical manipulations and kept for 10-20 minutes without rinsing. If necessary, 2-3 additional procedures are carried out with an interval of 2-3 days. It is recommended to combine with the application at home - 1 ml of Fagodent (1 pressure) 4-5 times a day after hygiene. The duration of the course of home procedures is 21-28 days. Prevention of bacterial complications in injuries, burns and other diseases of the oral cavity, gums, tongue, lips: 1 ml Fagodent (1 depression) 4-5 times a day after hygiene, until signs of trauma, burn and / or clinical symptoms disappear. Prevention of bacterial complications during surgical interventions in the oral cavity, incl. Prevention of bacterial complications after dental manipulations (tooth preparation, gum retraction, use of separation matrices, removal of supra- and subgingival dental deposits): 1 ml Fagodent (1 depression) 4-5 times a day after hygiene measures.
