Composition and form of release

1 tablet contains dexamethasone 0.5 mg; In contour non-jawed packaging 10 pcs.

1 ml solution for injection - dexamethasone sodium phosphate 4 mg; In bottles of 2 ml, in the outline of the cell 6 bottles.

Eye / ear drops contain dexamethasone sodium phosphate 0.1%, neomycin sulfate 0.5%, benzalkonium chloride 0.02%; In bottles of dark glass to 5 ml complete with a dropper, in a cardboard bundle 1 bottle.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory.

indications

Tablets: rheumatoid arthritis, allergic reactions, bronchial asthma, dermatological diseases, acute ulcerative colitis, rheumatic fever, disseminated lupus erythematosus, nephrotic syndrome, malignant diseases.

Solution for injection: anaphylactic shock, cerebral edema, bronchospasm, pemphigus.

Eye / ear drops: allergic and inflammatory diseases (including microbial) of the eye and ears: conjunctivitis, herpes zoster, otitis, iridocyclitis, sympathetic ophthalmia, scleritis, allergic blepharitis.

Contraindications

Tablets, solution for injection: systemic fungal and viral infections.

Eye / ear drops: hypersensitivity, tuberculosis of the eyes and ears, perforation of the tympanic membrane.

Side effects

Dizziness, headache, menstrual irregularities, muscle weakness, sodium retention, hypertension; Drops: cataract, glaucoma, secondary eye infections.

Dosing and Administration

Tablets: Inside, 3 mg / day (up to 4-6 mg / day). The maintenance dose is 0.5-1 mg / day in 2-4 admission.

Solution for injection: iv slowly (4-5 min), in / m, iv infusion - 1-5 ml (4-20 mg) 3-4 times a day.

Drops of the eye / ear: 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day in the eye, 3-4 drops in the affected ear 2-3 times a day.

Precautionary measures
