Pharmacotherapy

Combined drug, the effect of which is due to its constituent components; Has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. It damages the cellular membrane of microbial cells, disrupts the flow of metabolites into the cell and then kills it. Dexamethasone - GCS, has an anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, desensitizing effect, inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators, stabilizes the membranes of cells and cellular organelles, reduces the permeability of capillaries. Neomycin - aminoglycoside, is active against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae. Polymyxin B - is active against gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. To the action of these antibiotics resistant Streptococcus spp., Incl. Streptococcus pneumoniae, and anaerobic bacteria.

Indications

Superficial and deep bacterial keratitis; Nasal bacterial conjunctivitis, allergic conjunctivitis complicated by a secondary infection; Post-traumatic and postoperative iritis, iridocyclitis, episcleritis, dacryocystitis; Meibomite (barley); Eye damage caused by a burn (including chemical); Blepharitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, tuberculosis diseases of the eyes, acute herpes zoster, viral and fungal infections of the eyes, chicken pox; Purulent infection of the mucous membrane of the eye and eyelids caused by microorganisms resistant to the action of neomycin, a purulent corneal ulcer; Condition after removal of the foreign body of the cornea; Infectious or traumatic injuries (perforation) of the tympanic membrane.

Dosing

Special instructions

It is not allowed simultaneous use of other aminoglycosides. With topical application of neomycin or polymyxin B, the development of an allergic reaction may exclude the possibility of systemic use of other antibiotics close in structure to neomycin and polymyxin B. Allergies to neomycin may involve a cross-allergy with antibiotics-aminoglycosides.

Indications

External otitis without damage to the tympanic membrane (including the infected eczema of the external auditory canal).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, viral and fungal infections of the ears, infectious or traumatic damage (perforation) of the tympanic membrane.

Dosing

Externally, adults - 1-5 cap in each ear 2 times a day for 6-10 days, children - 1-2 drops in each ear 2 times a day for 6-10 days. Before use, it is recommended to warm the bottle by holding it in your hand, in order to avoid the unpleasant sensations associated with the ingress of cold liquid into the external ear canal. After instillation in one ear, you should tilt your head in the opposite direction for several minutes, and then drip into the other external ear canal.

Side effect

Special instructions

With prolonged treatment of pregnant women, there is a risk of ototoxic effect on the fetus. When perforating the tympanic membrane, the use is unacceptable, because Possible development of serious complications (deafness, vestibular disorders). Do not inject under pressure.
