Pharmacotherapy. Extract of milk from sturgeon (purified and standardized mixture of nucleic acids), has immunostimulating and antiviral effects. Activates antiviral, antifungal and antimicrobial immunity. It shows antiviral action against RNA and DNA-containing viruses. Course use in the complex therapy of AIDS / HIV infection increases the level of CD4-lymphocytes in the blood, which persists for 1-1,5 months after completion of the course of treatment. At the same time, the viral load in the body decreases. With recurrent herpetic infection, the duration of relapse is shortened and long-term remission occurs. The use of chronic hepatitis C in patients with chronic hepatitis C helps reduce the replicative activity of the hepatitis C virus and translates the process into a latent phase.

Pharmacokinetics. With the IM administration of the recommended dose, absorption is fast. TCmax - 0.5 h. T1 / 2 - 36 hours. After 24 hours, the concentration of the drug in the blood begins to decrease, due to its distribution in organs and tissues. With repeated administration of the drug every 24 hours for 5 days, there is a process of its accumulation in the blood and bone marrow. After the fifth injection, the concentration of the drug in all organs and tissues decreases. It is excreted (in unchanged form and in the form of metabolites) mainly kidneys (60%) and partly with feces (15%).

Indication. As part of combination therapy: HIV infection, AIDS; Hepatitis C and recurrent herpetic infection in HIV-infected patients.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, children's age.

Dosing. IM (slowly, for 1-2 min) to adults with HIV infection or AIDS - 5 ml of 1.5% solution for injection (75 mg in terms of dry matter) 2 times a day, for 14 days. If necessary, after 1-1,5 months, a second course of therapy can be prescribed.

For herpes - 5 ml of a 1.5% solution (75 mg) IM 2 times a day, for 10 days.

With hepatitis C, 5 ml of a 1.5% solution (75 mg) 2 times a day, for 14 days. In the next 14 days, the drug is administered at the same daily dose every other day.

Side effect. Rarely - a short-term increase in body temperature (up to 38 ° C), hyperemia and tenderness at the injection site.

Interaction. Moderately enhances the effect of anticoagulants.

Special instructions. To reduce the soreness, enter IM slowly, for 1-2 minutes.

The solution for injections should be fully used immediately after opening the ampoule, it is not allowed to store the opened ampoules.
