Composition and form of release
Eye gel 5% 1 g
dexpanthenol 50 mg
auxiliary substances: cetrimide; disodium edetate; carbomer; sodium hydroxide; water for injections
in tubes of 5 or 10 g; in the box 1 tuba.
Description of dosage form
Transparent or slightly opalescent colorless, easily flowing gel.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - keratoprotective.
Pharmacodynamics
Stimulates the processes of regeneration of the cornea, has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Pharmacokinetics
Carbomer does not penetrate into the eyeball tissues due to high molecular weight and is not absorbed into the systemic bloodstream. The carbomer increases the contact time of the aqueous solution with the corneal epithelium, prolonging the action of dexpanthenol.
Indications
corneal erosion;
eye burns;
keratitis of various etiologies;
dystrophic diseases of the cornea;
prevention of corneal damage when wearing contact lenses.
