Composition and release form

In 1 liter of a solution with a pH of about 6 contains sodium chloride 6 g, sodium lactate 3.22 g, potassium chloride 0.4 g, calcium chloride 0.27 g; In plastic containers of 500 or 1000 ml.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - Restoring the alkaline state of blood, normalizing the water-electrolyte balance.

Indications of the drug Compound Sodium Lactate

Deficiency of water and electrolytes, depletion of alkaline reserve of blood.

Contraindications

Lactate intolerance (severe liver damage, respiratory alkalosis), sodium metabolism (organic heart disease, kidney failure, cirrhosis, pulmonary heart, hypernatremia with corticosteroids).

Side effects

Hyperthermia, hypervolemia, development of infection, thrombosis or thrombophlebitis at the site of introduction, the consequences of extravasation (pain, infiltration, necrosis).

Dosing and Administration

IV, the dose is selected individually, depending on the age, body weight and condition of the patient.

Precautions measures

Enter with caution, as an overdose leads to metabolic alkalosis. It is necessary to carefully monitor the composition of plasma electrolytes. The administration of the solution with impaired renal function can cause hypernatremia. Any additives (necessarily thorough mixing) are carried out in aseptic conditions. After the addition of the additives, the solution should be stored at a temperature of 2-8 ° C for no longer than the period indicated on the label. Each package is intended for one-time use (the solution must be transparent, the container - not damaged). After 24 hours, the IV system should be replaced.

Storage conditions of the drug Compound Sodium Lactate

At a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.

Keep out of the reach of children.

The shelf life of the drug Compound Sodium Lactate

2 years.

Do not use beyond the expiration date printed on the package.
