Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, acute zakratougolnaya glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, acute pulmonary insufficiency, marked violations of the liver and kidneys, pregnancy, breastfeeding (should be suspended), age (under 18 years).

Side effects

Drowsiness, dizziness, depression, headache, confusion, insomnia, nervousness, fainting, akathisia, visual impairment, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, increased salivation, tachycardia, hypotension, allergic reactions.

Interaction

Strengthens the depriming effect of antiepileptic, antihistamines. Cimetidine reduces hepatic Cl.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, the initial dose of 0.25-0.5 mg 3 times a day, the dose is gradually increased to a maximum - 4 mg / day. Elderly and weakened patients, with violations of the liver and kidney function, patients with low intelligence - 0.25 mg 2-3 times a day. Treatment is stopped by a gradual decrease in the daily dose - no more than 0.5 mg every 3 days.
