Description of dosage form

Aloe juice is a slightly turbid liquid from orange-yellow to orange, bitter taste, spicy odor. Under the influence of light and air it gets dark. During storage, a deposit may occur.

Aloe syrup with iron - slightly turbid liquid of light orange color, sweetish-bitter taste.

Aloe liniment - creamy mass of slightly creamy color, peculiar odor; Do not spoil laundry.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - Adaptogenic, tonic.

Aloe juice increases bile secretion, secretion of digestive glands, has a laxative effect and bactericidal activity against pathogenic microorganisms (inside), anti-inflammatory, wound-healing effect (externally).

Aloe syrup with iron contains easily assimilated iron for the formation of hemoglobin and normal hematopoiesis, replenishes the lack of iron in the body, associated with poor digestion in the gastrointestinal tract, blood loss, malnutrition, increased need for iron (pregnancy, active growth in children and adolescents).

Aloe liniment accelerates epithelization, increases skin's tolerance to X-rays, has an anesthetic effect, reduces burning sensation and tightness. In experiments with rabbits, it has been established that, when used prophylactically, it reduces the reaction and significantly shortens the healing time of radiation damage to the skin.

Aloe-coated tablets are used as a biogenic stimulant.
