Composition
100 g of ointment contain:
active substance: blood components - deproteined hemo-derivative blood of calves: 5 ml (respectively, 0.2 g dry weight.);
Excipients: white wax, cetyl alcohol, cholesterol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl para-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.

Pharmachologic effect
Actovegin - antihypoxant activates the metabolism of glucose and oxygen.
Actovegin causes an increase in cellular energy metabolism. Its activity is supported by an increase in consumption and an increase in the utilization of glucose and oxygen cells. These two effects are associated, they cause an increase in ATP metabolism and thus enhance energy metabolism. The result of this is to stimulate and accelerate the healing process, characterized by high energy consumption.

Indications:

The wounds and inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, such as solar, thermal, chemical burns in the acute stage, skin cuts, abrasions, scratches, cracks

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug Actovegin or similar drugs.

Dosing and Administration
Outwardly.
The course of treatment is not less than 12 days and continues throughout the period of the active regeneration. Multiplicity of application - not less than 2 times per day.
