- I still worked 20 years in athletics, so I will answer for the athletes. I believe that this is because our team has traditionally brought the highest number of Olympic medals in the piggy bank of our national team.

And the problem of doping? It was relevant in our time? You used this Meldonium (Mildronate) or something else?

Dmitry Lobynya - Meldonium or Mildronate, I think, the whole team use Meldonium. Since this is a drug that is similar to vitamins A, B or C. And when it was banned - it was amazing, because little use of it did not feel by the athletes, but also the harm was not there. Doctors prescribed it and put injections of Meldonium(Mildronate) during training sessions.

But I do know that, despite the fact that it was banned as of 1 September, we received information that it can no longer be put and with January 1, 2016. It will take 30 days, and it will be in the list of banned. Although Mildronate detected within 120-150 days after receiving and taped on doping sample. Even then we know that the athletes will catch on these tests. It was one of the tricks to prevent the Olympic Games athletes of our national team.

It's hard to find a more politicized Olympics. If you go back to the 1980-th year, the Games of the XXII Olympiad in Moscow - this is the first Olympic Games that took place in Eastern Europe. Games end up being more than 50 countries boycotted the Olympics.

Previous boycott was in 1976 in Montreal, where 29 African countries have also boycotted the Olympics. But following the boycott was the boycott of the Soviet Union and even the 13th country Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984. Of course, this does not benefit the development of any international sports in general, nor the success of sports science.

Whether it was possible to avoid the disqualification of our athletes?

I think that time has been lost, and specialized Federation of Russia. Nobody expected that there will be such a mess around the Olympics.

And take this report - I was struck by how quickly he was prepared. Total 57 days was investigated. The result of the investigation of the World Anti-Doping Commission was 103 pages of the report, published by the huge print and large-spaced.
