RT-141 (Bromelanotide) is a synthetic peptide that increases libido and improves erectile function. This drug not only increases the blood supply of the genital organs of men, but also enhances sexual desire, and therefore, it is recommended for use, both to the stronger sex, and to women. However, not everyone knows how to properly take PT-141.

Recommendations for use PT-141

The peptide hormone PT-141, developed by the famous American biopharmaceutical company Palatin Technologies, is available in the form of a freeze-dried powder. It is recommended to use sterile saline as the solvent. The diluted drug is stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 0-8 C. The active period of its action is 10 hours, the maximum effect from use is observed 3-4 hours after the administration.

Sequence of application:

• Insert 1 ml of saline solution along the wall of the vial (10 mg), and mix gently, with rotational movements;
• Within two days, inject 500 μg (SED) subcutaneously;
• In the following days it is possible to increase the dosage to 1000 mcg per day;
• The optimal single dose is 0.5-1.5 μg, and does not depend on body weight.

In numerous trials, it has been found that the intranasal use of a peptide released as a spray entails the development of side effects. Therefore, it is not recommended to take Bromelanotide (RT-141) in this form.
