Blue color stimulates the brain, Swedish scientists found

Scientists have long been conducting research that is aimed at finding new sources of improving the working capacity of the human body, without side effects. Well, yes they do not have Semax :))
Experiments were conducted on two dozen ordinary people. In the randomized samples, the subjects used were white light / placebo, white light / 240 mg caffeine, blue light / placebo, blue light / 240 mg caffeine. The results showed that in tasks where you need to quickly analyze visual information and make a decision, caffeine and blue lighting equally helped to maintain brain activity.
When the participants of the experiment were particularly disturbed during the execution of the tasks and they were distracted, it turned out that coffee does not help much, and the blue light still allowed to concentrate as much as possible and make quick decisions. Another interesting fact - lighting most influenced the blue-eyed people.
Scientists believe that this influence of short wavelength lighting can be used in work where special attention and speed of analysis of visual information and decision making are needed. Moreover, unlike coffee, "use" of blue light can not damage.
