Composition

Spray dosed - solution Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.05% and 0.1%; into a spray bottle of 10 ml, in a cardboard box 1 atomizer.

pharmachologic effect

vasoconstrictor, decongestant.

Turn the alpha-adrenergic receptors.

pharmacodynamics

Reduces puffiness, hyperemia and exudation of mucous membranes, facilitates nasal breathing.

Indications

Rhinitis (acute, hay, vasomotor), diagnostic procedures in the nasal passages.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, dry mucous membranes of the nose, angle-closure glaucoma.

Side effects

Symptoms of irritation of the nasal mucosa - burning, tingling, dry nose, sneezing, swelling of the nasal mucosa.

Dosing and Administration

Intranasal, in each nostril, 1-3 times a day. Adults and children over 6 years: 1 injection of 0.1% solution (not more than 4 times a day). Babies (2.5 years): 1 injection of 0.05% solution (no more than 3 times a day).

Precautionary measures

In chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa long-term use is contraindicated.
