Pharmacological action - bacteriostatic, antifungal, anti-seborrheic, antipsoriatic, fungistatic, antimicrobial.
The spectrum of action includes a number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, streptococci, staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Proteus, fungi and other pathogenic microorganisms; has a bacteriostatic and fungistatic effect. The greatest activity is shown for the fungi of the group Pityrosporum (Pityrosporum ovale, Pityrosporum orbiculare) - one of the main factors of the pathogenesis of inflammation, hyperproliferation of the epidermis in psoriasis, seborrhea and other skin diseases. Causes selective cytostasis, incl. skin cells in the stage of hyperproliferation. Stabilizes the cell membranes, normalizes the activity of a number of membrane-bound enzymes. It accumulates in the deep layers of the epidermis, penetrates into the systemic blood flow in insignificant amounts.
