Composition and form of release

Pharmacological action - gonadotropic.

Stimulates the production of testosterone (in men), estrogens and progesterone after ovulation (in women). Enhances steroidogenesis in the sex glands.

Indications

In men, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, impaired spermatogenesis, delay in puberty in case of insufficient gonadotropic function of the pituitary gland, cryptorchidism; In women - induction of ovulation and superovulation, incl. Before puncturing the follicles, maintaining the function of the yellow body.

Contraindications

Androgen-dependent tumors (including suspected).

Side effects

Rarely - skin rash; In men, sodium and water retention (when taking high doses). After treatment, there is an increased risk of miscarriage or the development of multiple pregnancies.

Dosing and Administration

Injectively. With hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, dyspermia, delay in rates of puberty in men - 1000-2000 IU 2-3 times a week; When cryptorchidism, children under the age of 6 years - 500-1000 IU 2-3 times a week, over 6 years - 1500 ME 2-3 times a week; Course - 6 weeks, if necessary, can be repeated. To induce ovulation after treatment with humegonom - 5000-10000 IU, once, to maintain the function of the yellow body - 5000-10000 IU 1-3 times (within 9 days after ovulation / puncture of the follicles).

Precautionary measures

They are cautiously prescribed to boys in the prepubertal period, as well as to patients with heart failure, renal dysfunction, arterial hypertension, epilepsy, migraine (including if they have an anamnesis).
