1 ml solution for injection contains procaine hydrochloride 2.5, 5, 10 or 20 mg; in ampoules of 1, 2 or 5 ml, in a cardboard box 10 pcs.
Mode of action - local anesthetic.
It accumulates in the membranes of nerve fibers and endings and interacts with receptors located in potential-dependent sodium channels. Reduces the permeability of membranes for sodium ions, preventing the occurrence of an action potential and pain impulse.
