Characteristic

Contains essential oil (pinene, terpinene, fellandren, terpinolene, dipentene, sabinene, terpineol, borneol, isoborneol, uniperscaffor, cindol, cadinene), resinous and tannins, invert sugar, wax, organic acids (formic, malic, acetic) , microelements (Mn, Fe, Cu2 +, Al3 +), pectins, yellow amorphous substance - Uniperyrin.

Pharmacotherapy

Means of plant origin; renders diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antipyretic, expectorant, choleretic, diaphoretic and analgesic action, stimulates appetite. Activating the motor and secretory function of the intestines, improves digestion; increases lactation in lactating women.

Indications

Edema syndrome (with CHF, chronic renal failure and liver failure), cystitis; chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, tuberculosis; flatulence, constipation, cholangitis, cholecystitis; otitis; skin diseases (including dermatitis, scabies, lichen, skin rash); rheumatism; decreased appetite.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, kidney disease.

Dosing

Inside, 15 ml 3-4 times a day (2 ts.lokki dry berries pour 400 ml of boiled water, insist 2 hours); 5 ml for 30 minutes before meals to improve appetite (50 g of dried berries pour 200 ml of water, boil for 5 minutes, filter).

Outer, for baths with polyarthritis, gout and rheumatism (100-200 g of dry berries pour 1 liter of water, boil).

Locally, with otitis without perforation of the tympanic membrane, a cotton wool moistened with a tincture of juniper berries is introduced into the outer ear passage.
