Composition and release form

1 dragee contains diazepam 2 or 5 mg, in bottles of 30 pcs., In a carton 1 bottle.

1 ampoule with 2 ml solution for injection - 10 mg; In blistere 5 pcs., In a cardboard box 2 blisters.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - anxiolytic, miorelaksiruyuschee, tranquilizing.

Indications of the drug Diazepam

Neurosis, psychopathy, schizophrenia, insomnia, epilepsy, itching dermatoses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hepatic-renal failure, myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, pregnancy.

Side effects

Dizziness, drowsiness, slow reaction, decreased mental and motor activity, muscle weakness, ataxia, dry mouth, dyspepsia, nausea, diarrhea, dyspnea, bronchospasm, galactorrhea, hyperprolactinaemia, allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, adults - 4-15 mg per day in 2 divided doses (maximum daily dose - 60 mg, in a hospital). Breast children older than 6 months - 0.1-0.8 mg / kg per day in 3-4 divided doses.

IM, IV - 10-20 mg with a multiplicity in accordance with the indication.
